Stadium/Specialty Projects
As evidenced by the wide-ranging and—in some cases—historic examples detailed in our Stadium/Specialty section, Slaw Precast has the experience and knowledge to accelerate the successful completion of stadium and specialty construction projects.
The Coney Island Boardwalk project required Slaw Precast to provide concrete panels that matched the aesthetics of the classic wooden boardwalk that helped make Coney Island a famous destination. In addition, the precast boardwalk planking had to be transported a good distance across the beach itself, and installed from the beach side of the boardwalk - a very interesting challenge which we took in stride, completing the project on time and on budget.
Slaw Precast has completed numerous stadium projects including the Sovereign Center Arena in Reading PA, the Camden Riversharks Ballpark in Camden NJ, PPL Park in Chester PA, the Harrah's Casino horsetrack grandstands, as well as multiple smaller high school stadium seating units across the Northeast. We've also partnered with other precasters in the construction of many structural and architectural units for the largest of precast stadium projects, including most recently, the NY Mets Ballpark and the new Jets & Giants stadium.
Additionally, we have extensive experience producing sectional airport control tower units, reservoir (RCC-backed) dam liner panels, tunnel wall and ceiling panels, pedestrian bridges, pilings, drainage troughing, and more.
